Your responsibilities:
• Lead engineering for projects in our pipeline –residential, commercial, and utility scale
• Proposing / estimating potential clients with technical solution. Providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including engineers, contractors, and end users
• Communicating with clients throughout the design process to ensure that they are satisfied with the results
• Designing a system layout based on the customer’s needs and available space
• Complete system designs for PV projects including site plans, mechanical racking and attachment plans, single-line electrical drawings, specification of BOS location and interconnection details, and labeling
• Creating drawings or models of proposed systems, including roof-top solar arrays, ground-mounted solar arrays, and solar farms
• Researching new technologies to determine their viability for use in future projects
• Developing proposals and bids for new projects, including outlining design requirements and costs
• Coordinating with other members of the team throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that designs are feasible and compatible with other systems on the property
Your qualifications:
• Several years’ experience in solar PV design
• Degree in ME or EE or related discipline preferred
• Qualified to offer the solar system design solution
• High level of commitment, goal orientation and self-motivation
• Fluent English, other language like German are welcome
• Willingness to travel
